What started as a playful TikTok trend— #GingersAreBlack —quickly became something BIGGER: a moment of joy, unity, and empathy between two communities that, at first glance, couldn’t seem more different. But as the rare red heads flooded the algorithm of TikTok everyone laughed and cried and shared beautiful moments. People realized that both groups have faced stereotypes, discrimination, and even bullying simply for being who they are. The Black Community and newly founded ‘Ginger Community’ vowed to stand in solidarity against negative systemic biases.
